If I am involved in an accident how long do I have to file suit?
Automobile accidents are governed by a two year statue of limitations; however, other types of injuries not arising out of an automobile accident may have different limitation periods.
Although, the time limit to file the automobile accident lawsuit is within two years, we highly recommend that a personal injury attorney be immediately retained to insure that evidence is preserved and statements are taken from the eyewitnesses.

There are no up front costs or fees. Our fees are contingent on the final outcome of your case. We advance all costs and fees to insure your case gets the best results. All of the costs advanced will be reimbursed to the firm after the case is resolved. Therefore, there is no cost to you if your case does not resolve in a verdict or settlement in your favor.

Do I have the final say on whether to accept or reject a settlement offer?

Is it better to settle out of court or proceed to trial?
Every case is different. Jury trials are expensive and due to the court’s trial calendaring system it may take years to get a trial date. In some situations we may not have a choice but to proceed to trial. Some of our best results have come by way of a jury verdict.
